Tameside Threshold Document
This document has been developed to help and support practitioners working in Tameside with children across all agencies and organisations, when faced with a decision about the safety and wellbeing of a child. It is a collaborative approach to support what drives our shared ambition of acting in the best interests of the child.
Early Help Strategy
This strategy builds on Tameside’s previous Early Help strategies of 2020 and 2017 by setting the scene both locally and nationally. It provides clear priorities and accountability to improve and enhance, at pace, the Tameside early Help approach and offer, ensuring it remains responsive to the needs of the children and families within the Borough.
Tameside Neglect Strategy
This strategy was created in collaboration between all agencies within Tameside Safeguarding Children Partnership. The agencies include Children’s Services, Health, Police and Education. (July – November 2024)
Tameside Domestic Abuse Strategy 2021-2026
This strategy sets out Tameside’s strategic approach to tackling domestic abuse.
